EasySubtotals brings titles, subtotals, free-text blocks and block discounts to Dolibarr quotes, orders and invoices. It helps SMEs keep long commercial documents organized and their totals easy to read on screen, in PDF and in ODT templates. Totals stay clear and up to date as lines change.
Organize documents with structured blocks
Create hierarchical titles with up to nine nesting levels, and let each title open a block that groups the lines below it. Add automatic subtotals that close a block and show the accumulated taxable base, VAT and total, recalculated as soon as a line changes. Use free-text blocks for clauses, payment terms, customer notes or section separators without affecting calculations. You can also apply a percentage discount to a complete block and keep the applied amount visible in the document.
Keep optional items visible and separate
Mark a block as optional so its lines stay outside the main total, with their own color to make it obvious at a glance what is excluded from the calculation. This is useful when you want to present alternatives, extras or non-binding items without mixing them into the final totals. The result is a clearer document for both your team and your customer.
Works across quotes, orders and invoices
EasySubtotals supports customer and supplier quotes, customer and supplier orders, customer and supplier invoices, including recurring invoices and situation invoices with automatic percentage calculation. It also handles block cascading when invoicing several delivery notes or receipts at once. This gives SMEs consistent structure across the commercial and billing cycle in Dolibarr.
Fits PDF and ODT templates
Blocks are rendered with any standard Dolibarr PDF template, including core templates such as Cyan, Azur and Sponge, without losing their design. The module also includes its own versions of Crabe for invoices, Azur for quotes and Einstein for orders. For custom ODT templates, it hooks into Dolibarr’s ODT process and provides row-type markers, per-level flags and a Variables ODT tab that lists available markers with examples.
